What's Included In A Service Plan?
Our service technicians work with all makes and models of home standby generators. Whether air cooled or liquid cooled, regular maintenance for these devices includes:
- Replace engine oil and filter
- Inspect and replace engine air filter
- Inspect and clear all air inlets/outlets
- Inspect battery cables, posts, and connections for corrosion/damage
- Inspect and clean the spark arrester
- Inspect all belts for wear/damage
- Inspect and replace engine spark plug
- Check valve clearance
- Inspect all electric and gas conduits
- Perform system function check, check for leaks, and abnormal operating conditions
- Adjust frequency and voltage where necessary
- Replace fluid/flush where necessary (liquid cooled units only)
- Return the unit to stand-by setup for emergency operation
